Lists...Lists Everywhere...

Well, someone has officially gone crazy with lists. First I started by creating a million lists..then I spent time compiling the lists into a more organized format in our house binder.
I ended up with 3 lists: “To Do” “To Do – Baby Edition” and “To Buy”. There is a chance that Brandon thinks I am crazy…with my lists and then re-listing, but it kind of makes me feel sane…sort of.

As part of this list making extravaganza, we are going to be prioritizing our “To Buy” list by month and setting weekly “To Do” goals. Otherwise that same box just sits in the kitchen untouched since we moved in…seven months ago…embarrassing.

While it feels great to have a central location for everything that needs to be done, every time I look at the lists I find something that needs to be added...which has been a little more discouraging than motivating as I cross off one item and add three more...but in the long run I'm thinking it will keep us more organized and united on the projects we are tackling!

How Is It Wednesday?

I'm just returning from a whirlwind trip Monday and Tuesday to Ohio and Indiana (don't be too jealous...). Each flight was on either a seven person or an eight person jet, which was cool, but now I feel like it should be the weekend...instead of Wednesday. This is going to be the worlds longest week...

Cupcake Class

I have an addiction to cooking classes. Especially Whole Foods cooking classes, because they are yummy AND inexpensive (which just means I can take even more!!).

One of the most recent classes I took was on Couture Cupcakes, and I thought I'd share a few photos:

Guest Bedroom

Well, I’ve finally made a decision about the nursery – at least which room it will be in. Part of what prompted that decision was that we were offered a free bed. Not the kind of people who turn up their noses at free, we knew this would be the perfect solution to our lack of a guest room problem.

I’ve been trying to convince our friend Melissa to move back here come visit – however – apparently “we have a couch you can sleep on” isn’t the most tempting offer. So now – WE HAVE A BED! Well, we have a mattress and box spring, but the goal is to have a bed by the time Melissa visits.

Ok...maybe not the most inviting right now...but if we add some bedding...and maybe some curtains...I promise you'll never want to leave!!! (Ok - you'll probably still want to leave eventually...)

I’m actually pretty excited about putting the rest of the room together (on a small budget). Since we have a nursery that we’re going to have to start decorating, I don’t want to go overboard on the guest bedroom, but I’d still like it to look warm and inviting…so Melissa wants to visit (and then stay forever).

Sunday Breakfast
